Fancy Dress Party

Some lovely friends of ours had a Black and White themed fancy dress party last weekend. I was my usual unorganised self and the week before the party started to panic about costumes. Black or white is a harder theme than you'd think.

Luckily for me Fancy Dress Ball came to the rescue with this Batman costume from The Dark Night for my husband.

Also fitting to the theme from Fancy Dress Ball was a Gorilla costume that looked amazing, maybe next time.

The costume is excellent quality and definitely worth the £39.99 it would have cost, especially when we had friends who paid almost that just to hire a costume.

This is the large size and it was a little big, but probably better too big than too snug! Apparently it was very comfortable and not too hot to wear.

All in all we were very pleased with it.

I may have to buy the child version for my soon to be 6 year old as well.

This is the morning after the party, the kids were desperate to see Daddy dressed up and joined him as a fireman and a Gruffalo.

Fancy Dress Ball also has some great kids costumes for world book day, which I'm sure Z's school will be taking part in, and you know hoe much we love to read.
